Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using FieldNote AI ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. The App is developed and operated by OpaCore Studios ("we", "us", or "our").

Description of Service

FieldNote AI is a mobile application that helps service professionals generate professional documentation from rough job notes using artificial intelligence. The App provides AI-generated outputs including professional service notes, customer summaries, invoice descriptions, and follow-up messages.

Subscriptions and Billing

• The App offers a 7-day free trial for new users.
• After the trial, a paid subscription is required to access AI-powered features.
• Subscription plans: Monthly ($2.99/month) or Yearly ($24.99/year).
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings.
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Submit content that is harmful, threatening, abusive, or violates the rights of others
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or infrastructure
• Use the App to generate fraudulent or misleading documentation

AI-Generated Content

The App uses artificial intelligence to generate documentation from your notes. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated outputs are suggestions and should be reviewed before use.
• You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all generated content before sharing it with customers, using it for invoicing, or relying on it for any professional purpose.
• We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will be error-free, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.
• You retain ownership of all content you create and all outputs generated from your notes.

Your Data

All field notes, customer information, photos, and generated outputs are stored locally on your device. You are responsible for backing up your data. We are not liable for any data loss resulting from device failure, App deletion, or any other cause. For details on how we handle data, see our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by OpaCore Studios and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal or business use in accordance with these Terms.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OpaCore Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
